For almost three decades, The Verona was part of the fabric of Paddington. More than a cinema, it was a place for film, culture and community, becoming a familiar part of the neighbourhood and the memories of those who spent time there.
Now, this much-loved landmark is being renewed for its next era, while preserving the role it has long played in Paddington. Almost 30 years after designing the original Palace Verona cinema, Tonkin Zulaikha Greer Architects return to the building, with the cinema returning alongside new dining, retail and the ultimate private residences.
Offering one, two and three bedroom residences, The Verona features interiors by Richards Stanisich, an iconic name in Eastern Suburbs design. Drawing on Paddington’s distinctive character, each home takes a bold, design-led approach, with statement details, expressive materials and a choice of two distinct interior schemes.
At rooftop level, residents will have access to a 17-metre swimming pool with views across Sydney’s skyline, and residences capture the city, Paddington terrace rooftops and the harbour.
